Truex Inc. receives 6th Environmental compliance awardfifth consecutive year for10/8/2009 -On Tuesday September 29th, 2009, Truex Incorporated received its sixth Environmental Perfect Compliance award from Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay Commission. Each year the commission recognizes all Significant Industrial users who have demonstrated a perfect record of compliance to environmental regulations. Only 14 out of 1500 companies in R.I. achieved this perfect record. According to Mark Buchan, Quality Manager at Truex, “This marks the 5th consecutive time we have achieved this award. At Truex we place great importance on the protection of the environment and set our standards high enough to meet or exceed all State and Federal requirements. It really is a team effort and all of our employees take great pride in this accomplishment. “ Founded in April of 1976, Truex inc. is a manufacturer of deep drawn stampings fabricated from brass, steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
