Truex, Inc. installs a new manufacturing cell for Stainless Steel products5/20/2009 -Truex Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of a new manufacturing cell for Stainless Steel products. The new cell, incorporating three transfer presses, a state of the art cleaning line and a bright annealing furnace came on line in March. According to Stacey Alsfeld, Vice President and General Manager at Truex Inc., “This manufacturing cell is a logical step in our Stainless Steel expansion strategy. With the continued growth in our Stainless Steel products, it made sense to use our success with Lean Manufacturing to design and build this integrated cell. We were able to use the experience gained from the development of our other manufacturing cells to design the layout and purchase the right equipment to make this new cell effective from the start” Truex, Inc. is a manufacturer of deep drawn and stamped parts fabricated from brass, steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
